SALINE CO., Ill. - On March 16, 2016, Saline County Circuit Judge Walden E. Morris sentenced Kameron R. Moore, age 18, of Rock Island, Illinois to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 2 years of  mandatory supervised release on a Class 2 felony charge of Aggravated Battery.

On January 28, 2016, a Saline County jury found Moore guilty of Aggravated Battery following a jury trial handled by Saline County Assistant State’s Attorney Jayson Clark.

Moore’s conviction arose out of an incident in which it was alleged he struck and tackled

Jacob Miller, while Miller was working as a guard at IYC‐Harrisburg.

Because Moore was 18 years old when he committed the offense, he was prosecuted in adult court by Assistant State’s Attorney Jayson Clark.
