SALINE CO.— A Harrisburg man with a history of violence has been charged with just that.

According to formal charges filed in the case, at 9:33 p.m., on February 22, Harrisburg officer Matthew Forrester and Deputy Mychal Gooch arrived at 107 West Homer Ave., Harrisburg, on a report that Francisco C. Vazquez, 36, had pushed his girlfriend, identified as Amanda M. Riden and struck her daughter, identified as AMW and locked himself inside the residence.

According to Amanda, she was watching television in the living room when Vazquez came back in the house after drinking alcohol in his vehicle for a period of five hours in the driveway.

Amanda said that Vazquez asked, “Where is my f%#king money?”

She said she told him she didn’t have his money and in response he got mad and threw a kitchen chair, breaking it and then threatening to hit her.

Amanda said that fearing for her safety she went outside and called police.

She said her daughter AMW woke up to see what was going on.

She said she heard Francisco call her daughter a “fat f#%k” and then she saw him push the girl down and hit her in the chest.

AMW herself told officers that she had been asleep in her bedroom when she woke up to Francisco yelling at her mother.

She said she saw him throw stuff and push her mother.

She said she saw her mother go outside to call police and that’s when Francisco got in her face and called her names, hit her in the chest and hurt her arm.

Vazquez was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Battery.

Vazquez’ criminal history includes an arrest in March 2009 during which he was charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Domestic Battery for which he was ultimately sentenced to probation for 24 months, 194 days in the county jail and cost him $810 in fines and fees.

On November 30, 2010 Vazquez was convicted of Violation of an Order of Protection and sentenced to probation for 18 months and ordered to pay $2,377.98 in fines and fees.

Vazquez was sentenced to IDOC for two years following a July 24, 2013 conviction for Domestic Battery.

Cash bond in his most recent case was set at $1,500.
