SALINE CO.— A Harrisburg man awaiting trial on two felony weapons charges and for beating a pregnant/handicapped woman has been taken into custody again and again charged with attacking a pregnant/handicapped woman.
Details in the case show that on or about February 5, 2017 Peter C. Dealba, 23, of the 500 block of South Texas St., Harrisburg, was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm From/Into an Occupied Vehicle, Unlawful Carry/ Possession of a Firearm in a School and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm with an Expired Firearm Owners ID Card.
He was released from police custody in that case on Feb. 14, 2017 after posting a $1,500, cash bond.
Dealba was arrested again on June 29, 2017 and charged with two counts of Domestic Battery.
On July 24, 2017 his cash bond was reduced from an unknown amount to $500 cash.
Again on September 19, 2017, his cash bond was reduced from $500 cash to $200 cash.
That bond was posted and he was released from police custody Sept. 22, 2017.
Then on January 17, 2018, Dealba was again taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Battery of a Pregnant/Handicapped Person, Domestic Battery and two counts of Aggravated Unlawful Restraint.
Two days later Dealba is said to have committed the offense of Aggravated Battery of a Pregnant woman when he knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature with Zara J. Pinkston, when he grabbed her neck at a time when he knew her to be pregnant.
He was also charged at the same time with two counts of Domestic Battery, the first for grabbing Pinkston by her neck and the second for striking family or household member Jackie Asenas in the leg with a phone.
On January 22, 2018, a judge ordered Dealba released because State’s Attorney Jayson Clark is said to have failed to present formal charges against Dealba to the court.
Dealba is expected back in court later this month.
