Woman claiming disability from ‘brain damage’ busted for trespass

SALINE CO.— A Harrisburg woman, claiming disability from ‘brain damage,’ has been charged with felony trespass.

Details filed in the case allege that on May 29 Krista D. Tate, 45, of South McKinley St., Sneed High Rise, Harrisburg, without authority, knowingly entered the residence of Kendra Duncan, located at South McKinley St., Sneed High Rise, Harrisburg, at a time when she knew or had reason to know that one or more persons were present in the residence.

Authorities say Tate went on to commit the offense of Criminal Damage to Property when she damaged a vase belonging to Duncan.

In her affidavit of assets and liabilities she said she was widowed, disabled for 24 years and had just moved into the Sneed High Rise, on McKinley Street in Harrisburg.

Cash bond in the case was set $200.
