SALINE CO.— An Eldorado man has been charged with Residential Burglary and Theft after police say he stole underwear.
Authorities say that on or about January 16, 2013, Joshua Aaron Cummins, 33, of 1107 Murphy St., Eldorado, knowingly entered the dwelling place of Candice Cummins, located at 33 West College St., Harrisburg with the intent to commit a felony or theft.
Once inside Aaron Cummins is accused of “exerting unauthorized control over property of Candice Cummins, being three pairs of women’s panties, having a total value not exceeding $500 in value intending to deprive Candice Cummins, permanently of the use of the property.
Although the date of the offense is listed in court documents as 2013, a warrant was not issued until Jan. 20, 2014. It is unclear if the discrepancy is a typo or not.
On Jan. 20, 2012 Candice Cummins was granted an Order of Protection against Joshua Cummins, but that OP was later dismissed.
A divorce was granted to Mrs. Cummins from Mr. Cummins March 8, 2013.
Aaron Cummins was released from custody after a $2,500 cash bond was posted on his behalf by Kevin Cummins of 2252 Hwy 45 North, Harrisburg.
