SALINE CO.—The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force was responsible for recent drug arrests in Saline County, all of it happening during the last week of July.
The arrests were the result of what Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown called a “pseudoephedrine detail” that week that led to four drug arrests.
During a traffic stop, Matthew B. Wood, 31, and Christina Rector, 24, both of Eldorado, were arrested for Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursors.
David M. Rector, 28, also of Eldorado, was arrested for Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (see related story).
The fourth arrest was that of Jason Potts (also see related story).
Then on July 30, a Harrisburg man wanted on two Saline County warrants, was arrested after a short foot pursuit. Jariah T. Moss was arrested near the intersection of Jackson and Virginia streets by Harrisburg officers and a Saline County deputy.
Moss, 32, was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Burglary and Theft over $500. He was taken to the Saline County Detention Center.
Brown encourages the public to inform his office or deputies if they see any suspicious activity.
