Screen Shot 2016-08-15 at 4.14.16 PMSALINE CO.— A Harrisburg woman wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for a scheduled court date was not only nabbed strolling down the street, but police say she had a stash of pills on her.

Reports indicate that on July 18 at 7:21 a.m. officer Brent Davis was southbound in the 1000 block of South Granger when he spotted two individuals walking and identified them as Casey C. Sheldon, 28, of 1208 West Largent St., Harrisburg, and JJ Watt.

After confirming that Sheldon was wanted on the warrant out of Saline, Davis advised her she was under arrest.

Sheldon is said to have suddenly dropped the backpack she was carrying and claimed she didn’t want it anymore because it “wasn’t hers.”

“Casey was carrying the backpack the entire time from when I first saw observed her walking down the street until she knew she was going to jail,” Davis said.

Sheldon was cuffed and placed in a waiting cruiser.

A quick peek inside the backpack revealed why Casey was so eager to get rid of it.

Davis discovered in the backpack female makeup items, hair products and a black purse with Casey Sheldon’s driver’s license in it.

He also located 1 klonipin tablet, 2 xanax tablets marked C902 and two and a half xanax tablets marked S901.

Sheldon was formally charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The active warrant is believed to be in connection with a misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct charge filed May 23, 2016.

He criminal history includes a conviction January 28, 2010 for Resisting a Peace Officer for which she was sentenced to probation for two years and ordered to pay $3,230.80 in fines and fees.

Cash bond in her most recent case was set at $1,000.
