SALINE CO., Ill. - Following a meeting of the Saline County Board last night to appoint an interim State's Attorney, a swearing-in ceremony was held this morning to fill that position.
Selected to serve out the late Mike Henshaw's term at the board meeting last night was Assistant State's Attorney Jayson Clark of Eldorado.
Clark has been with the state's attorney's office since July of 2013.
He was sworn in by First Circuit Judge Walden Morris this morning in a brief 8:30 a.m. ceremony.
