SALINE CO.— In the Saline County general report there appears to have been numerous individuals who just didn’t know any better than to not take their drug stash with them as they ventured out of the sanctity of their home.
Chief makes drug arrest
A traffic stop and subsequent arrest for Driving Suspended landed a Harrisburg man behind bars after police say they found drugs.
According to court documents, on December 31, 2017, Michael Taylor Marcum, 29, of the 1400 block of South Washington St., Harrisburg, was stopped on Raymond Street by Harrisburg Police Sgt. Michael Riden after Riden spotted him operating a vehicle and knew his license to be suspended.
As Marcum was being taken into custody, Riden discovered an amount of meth on his person.
He was ultimately booked into the county jail on the driving suspended and one count of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 100-500 grams.
Cash bond in the case was set at $500.
Connected to Marcum?
An Eldorado woman was also taken into custody on December 31, 2017. Whether or not her case was connected with Marcum’s or not is unclear.
Amy Lynn Dodd, 31, of the 2100 block of Crossroad School Rd., Eldorado, has been charged with a single count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance after authorities say, on December 31, 2017, she was found to have on her person an undetermined amount of diazepam.
Cash bond in her case was set at $500.
Mills meth
Glen Logan Bishop, 47, Jr., of Hwy 45 South, Carrier Mills, has been charged with a single count of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine after authorities say on December 26, 2017, they found him to have less than five grams of meth on his person.
Cash bond in the case of the unemployed, divorced father of two was set at $1,000.
Teen pills
Irish R. Tanael, 19, of the 400 block of East Cherry St., Harrisburg, has been charged with a single count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance after police say on December 30, 2017, they discovered an undetermined amount of alprazolam on his person.
Cash bond in the case was set at $1,000.
