SALINE CO., Ill.—Todd Fort’s Carbondale attorney has issued a Notice of Appeal in Fort’s case against Saline County’s State’s Attorney.
Regular readers will recall that Judge Mark Stanley dismissed Fort’s case against Henshaw on December 27; all parties were notified of the dismissal on January 3 and it was covered here a couple of days later.
The dismissal, however, was “with prejudice,” meaning Fort retained the ability to appeal…which is what Dunham states he intends to do, this filing made this morning (Friday, January 24, 2014).
We’ll have the FULL story of the dismissal and intent to appeal in the upcoming February 2014 edition of Disclosure, on stands beginning next Tuesday, January 28…or right here at the convenience of your computer via the e-Edition if you have an online subscription…if you don’t, get clicking, so you won’t miss a thing.
