Hey, here we are in the third of the every-other-week papers...and it's going WELL!

We're not as exhausted as we thought we would be, nobody on staff has killed or maimed anyone, and the news...well, the news keeps pouring in and filling up the pages. We should've done this a long time ago.

Now the question is...will we keep it up? And if so, for how long? Right now, it's looking like we're going to do this until at least the end of August. Beyond that, we might go back to a three-weeker every once in awhile, even while on vacation. With all the newspaper offices shuttering all around us, and reports that the ones that are continuing to publish are "too expensive for what they are" and they "don't have anything in them," who knows...? Weekly isn't out of the realm of possibility. We've done it before, in a previous life; it can be done again.

In the meantime...here's this awesome issue; we worked hard, put it together in a matter of days, actually. Not as typo-filled as the July Special Edition, so you won't have fun picking them all out...but boy the articles. These are great, you're going to enjoy them. Print headlines are given to you in order of section (Page 1, Back Page - which is our second front page - Pages 2 and 3, Features if there are any, Egypt, Heartland and Central, and finally Op-Ed). They are presented by dateline (the county or city of the coverage area where the material in the article is from), headline (which links to the e-Edition article), and then a brief synopsis of the material covered, done in our own snarky Disclosure style. And now, we present to you...THIS ISSUE'S PRINT HEADLINES!

Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 12.12.39 PMEDWARDS CO.--Massive bond set for alleged dope mover: The follow-up to the arrest we covered here a couple of weeks ago of accuse meth-mover Brad Beehn...with a little extra. There's some stuff in this article that we've known as made privy to us YEARS ago and have never brought out...now, it's time, and it's pertinent. And believe me when we tell you...there's more. Be watching as this unfolds...especially if Beehn lawyers up and wants to make a big defense.

Kyle Eichorn, moron

SALINE CO.--ENTERS PLEA: Home-grown Hardin County punk Kyle Eichorn is now a convicted felon at age 19. We're pretty sure, in his hubris, arrogance and sheer ignorance, that this doesn't impact him one its, since it's not HIS $20,000 that's going toward  his fines and fees...it's likely yours, mine and ours. How does that work? Read this article and see.

Joshua Eugene Millman. EUGENE??!?

Joshua Eugene Millman.
EUGENE??!?

CLAY CO.--Meth kingpin caught in second county: Josh Millman, looking closer to 57 than 37, has been busted again, this time in Clay County...where it's likely he's not going to get any more slack cut than his buddy Beehn will be in Edwards. Boys, boys...you shoulda stayed in Richland, where the prosecutors only pretend they're doing something about you. Maybe now the feds will get involved.

HARDIN CO.--The wall came crumbling down: Collapse of the wall surrounding the big hill that once held the old Downey law building...kinda leads into the whole page 8 story about the big pill bust in Hardin.

David Hyde. And his chins. None of whom have done their jobs in Richland County.

David Hyde. And his chins. None of whom have done their jobs in Richland County.

RICHLAND CO.--Is he going? That's what everybody in Richland County seems to be asking, as we'd learned about two weeks ago that it was Richland County prosecutor David Hyde's intention to resign from his office. We caught up with some public officials, and in this article is what they had to say about it.

BACK PAGE

hill family

SALINE CO.--Shooting accident leaves bitter recrimination: The shooting accident involving Nathan Hill that happened a week before deadline is featured here for our print readers; and online readers might want to read it, too, since it does contain material not featured online...as is our practice here.

Mychal Bush-King, Clay County Sheriff's Office mugshot

Mychal Bush-King, Clay County Sheriff's Office mugshot

CLAY CO--Bush-King enters quiet plea in very public child porn case: For all the griping Mychal Bush-King's buttlickers did when he was first arrested, there sure isn't a PEEP out of anyone about his guilty plea to both county as charged. I guess now that he's going to be a registered sex offender (which many believe should have happened YEARS ago, but I guess it's a good thing it happened after he reached majority age, otherwise the general public might never have been alerted to him) nobody really wants to associate with him...?

WAYNE CO.--Differing stories emerge following shooting in Wayne: The backstory, as promised, regarding the double shooting in Wayne that occurred on deadline of the last issue...and you're going to be surprised at it.

PAGE 2

WHITE CO.--Theft of various things; pot possession; alarming and disturbing among White County misdemeanors: Misdemeanors can be fun. This new branch of coverage of the criminal goings-on in our very criminal state is highly entertaining. Read it and see.

HAMILTON CO.--Dahlgren woman sued by IAG over defunct gas storage tanks: The Attorney General's office is onto a Dahlgren woman and is seeking a giant sum of money from her. Find out what it's all about, and how much they expect to get from her, in this article.

PAGE 3

Jordan McGuire, Albany County, Wyoming, mugshot

Jordan McGuire, Albany County, Wyoming, mugshot

JACKSON CO. via SALINE CO.--McGuire name change denied; hadn't registered as sex offender by mid-July: Well, we checked. Right up until we went to press. Jordy had not registered. But now, with the material in the print version AND online, maybe something will happen with him. Read the article to see what this is all about.

LAWRENCE CO.--Punks charged in connection with Lawrenceville Drive-In burglary took stolen cash to buy weed: Remember these guys from a couple of issues back...? They're caught. Because they're wannabes.

EGYPT

HARDIN CO.--'Feds in Hardin County' wasn't quite that, but quite a lot of state action in the big pill push: Coverage of the big pill bust in Hardin County...which is still apparently going on.

WHITE CO.--Carmi doper thief charged with burglary: Boy. This guy's got a well-rounded crim resume, does he not?

WHITE CO.--Broken windows lands career crim behind bars: Wouldn't THAT be a thing to be known for. "Whatcha in for?" "Oh, broke a few winders."

GALLATIN CO.--Eldorado pair part of Gallatin drug pinch: Quite a few people were wondering what was going on with this dope bust. It's an interesting trio, to say the least, with crossover crims from Saline County in the mix.

HARDIN CO.--Miraculous: Two people charged in Hardin County in mid-June NOT with pill crimes: There were actually two felonies charged in the last two weeks that weren't associated with the big pill bust in Hardin. The biggest question is: Why is Allen Roe called in to prosecute one of them?

Carl E. Payne and another one of those scruffy looking beards. Would someone please advise this crowd that they look like they've gone full retard when they shave like this? Thx.

Carl E. Payne and another one of those scruffy looking beards. Would someone please advise this crowd that they look like they've gone full retard when they shave like this? Thx.

SALINE CO.--'D!ckhead' lands Eldorado man behind bars on drug charges: Two things about this - one, it's not like Shannon Deuel doesn't KNOW; and two, if you're going to call a cop an obvious name, don't have dope on you. Just sayin.

SALINE CO.--Sex predator charged with grabbing local cashier: Well now here you have the mentality of a sex predator. It's not bad enough that he's out and about and trying to assimilate into society...he has to go allegedly groping. I mean, seriously.

SALINE CO.--Former Carrier Mills man charged with raping 13-year-old daughter of girlfriend: Peeps...I have no words for this article. None. Just read it...and you won't, either.

SALINE CO.--Suspect wanted for Retail Theft busted on drug charge: What is it with these retail theft charged people bumping up their game with dope?

SALINE CO.--The usual--and some unusual--misdemeanor charges in Saline: Another one that we had a lot of fun producing. Hope you enjoy these as much as we did.

SALINE CO.--Cops say meth couple-of-cooks caught cooking off a batch on Jenny Ridge Hill: The dope report out of Saline for the past couple of weeks. I mean, with dope reports like this, why would we need any OTHER dope report??

SALINE CO.--Tip leads authorities to parolee with weapons: Another crim with guns. We don't always agree with the law...but if you're a crim, stay away from guns.

park, morgan johnston

WILLIAMSON CO.--Marion Park district under scrutiny after unauthorized access, hours of video missing: Whenever you hear the name "Terence Henry" in the Egypt area, that generally means that there's some kind of trouble around the corner. This situation is no exception.

SALINE CO.--Alleged con-man tries it the other direction: Sues for propane accident: We knew Dan Moutria was A) dumb and B) largely useless. This lawsuit he just filed in Saline County, however, proves both.

HEARTLAND

EDGAR CO.--Mysterious Edgar County plane crash leads to Bolivia; what are they hiding? These are the kinds of things that get people killed. But apparently, in Edgar County, the killers and and killees are just a step or two removed from each other and don't necessarily care.

CRAWFORD CO.--Vague Stalking/No-Contact Order raises more questions than answers: We've been hearing about these two cousins, Brian Millsap and Richard Bonnell, for years. It's hard to take this kind of nonsense feud seriously. And this kind of OP is why.

JASPER CO.--Drug charges continue to mount against task force chick: This gal in Jasper has apparently outlived her usefulness. That's usually always a bad thing.

CRAWFORD CO.--So what is the big deal about Adam Livvix? He's not got ANY active cases save the one in Crawford...and he's not got much of a record anywhere else except to have been charged (most were dismissed). So why is he being dumped back in OUR laps in Robinson?

Harry Oliver

Harry Oliver

CRAWFORD CO.--'Homeless' sex offender homeless once again, if landlady prevails in court: Harry Oliver. Again. Getting kicked out of a place where he didn't pay the first dime in rent. Nothing to see here, move along.

CRAWFORD CO.--Woman charged with beating violent felon: In my estimation, she did the public a solid.

EDGAR CO.--Pair of sex crimes involve Paris man and teen from Indiana: There are some very strange aspects of these two separate incidents....we're exploring them..and will have them in an upcoming issue. In the meantime, read this so you'll get all the backstory.

CRAWFORD CO.--Three nabbed in DUI sweep: Lots of alleged DUI-ing going on in the area of late.

CRAWFORD CO.--Synthetic drug from 1960s, 'flakka,' also known as 'gravel,' charged in Robinson: Flakka...is that anything like Wakka Lakka?

CRAWFORD CO.--Catfight ends with three women in police custody and one man to bail them all out: Bar fights. Gotta love em. Good for business all the way around.

CENTRAL

CLAY CO.--Appellate prosecutor's office declines to file charges in disorderly conduct clerk case: The final outcome to the situation that emerged in April with a deputy circuit clerk in Clay County.

EDWARDS CO.--Albion man charged after girlfriend says he bit her face: Typical abusive man in a relationship...it goes on and on and on and on and then when the girl finally goes for an OP, you read all this stuff and you think, shouldn't you have left like about 15 incidents ago...?

Darrell Newman

Darrell Newman

CLAY CO.--Rinard man makes repeat appearance: Ordinarily, Darrell Newman is the one on the giving end when it comes to criminal activity. In this piece, however, he's definitely on the receiving end. Doesn't mean he's not giving a repeat appearance...just in a different capacity.

CLAY CO.--'Car trouble' keeps driving revoked suspect from court: Of all the excuses we hear about not being able to make it to court...this one comes up frequently. And it loses effectiveness every time.

RICHLAND CO.--Olney man charged with molesting teen: There seems to always be a lot of that going on in Richland...and in particular, in Olney.

EDWARDS CO.--Baby injured, father charged; quarter-million-dollar bond in Edwards County: The bonds are high these days in Edwards. The punishments are usually pretty severe. But there can BE no punishment severe enough for someone who injures a child. Just my two cents. Which, combined with a few more cents, could buy a nice bullet that would end the problem.

George Grove

George Grove, aka Achmed

LAWRENCE CO.--Major meth bust in Sumner: Coverage of the bust that nabbed the Georges, Grove and Ahlfield, and which, when looking at the former's mugshot, begs the question: Is it trendy for dopers to be looking like they need to be wearing a turban these days?

WHITE CO.--Toyota Camry plates on Grand Am lands hoosier behind bars: Aw, why can't we just be allowed to switch plates on our vehicles when the tags run out...? waaaaahhhhh....

HAMILTON CO.--Third creditor files against tow-man, who takes a plea in his methamphetamine cases: The rest of the story to Jason Irvin's plea to his meth counts in Hamilton and Franklin counties, to include the third creditor filing against him hoping to get some money from him while he's in DOC, apparently...

HAMILTON CO.--Teens face $10,000 cash bond in wake of recent burglaries: They say in some of our downstate counties that "the kids don't have nuthin to do. Thet's why they awl git in trubble." Except that there's some kind of teen center in McLeansboro. So under this circumstance, that's not a viable excuse.

WABASH CO.--Peeing on planter lands urinator behind bars: Of all things...dude pees on his own planter. Someone else sees it, calls cops. Dude's charged. Can't a guy pee on his own lawn, fa cryn out loud??

RICHLAND CO. --Olney man with decade-long history of violence leads crim report with battery charge: One of these days, Richland County will enter into the new millennium and have a real prosecutor, one who deals with repeat offenders like this. In the meantime...there's this guy.

LAWRENCE CO.--Misdemeanors keep fines and fees rolling in for Lawrence: Nothing like a little misdemeanor action to make the news fun.

OP-ED

SURLY & UNCOOPERATIVE (Jack): What is important enough in your life to fight for?
ICY (Ang): It falls on me to tell you where we stand
MINKUS INK (Bubba): America: Holding the 'Lone Wolf" at bay?
