HARRISBURG, Ill. - A repeatrepeatrepeat crim has made it to the police blotter once again in Harrisburg.

Authorities have confirmed that DeAnglo Cowper, 36, a Harrisburg crim whose latest spot on the police blotter included eight separate counts of sex crimes (three of them involving giving dope to the victim, his then-girlfriend's daughter), this dating back to June of 2015, was taken into custody yesterday morning (Monday, August 29) after it was alleged that he stabbed a person at the Poplar Street Huck's in Harrisburg.

The Huck's incident occurred at 8:39 a.m.

It's unclear just how badly the victim fared, but he or she (no identification has been made yet) was transferred from Harrisburg's hospital to an out-of-area one, so it might've been fairly serious.

This morning a probable cause statement was submitted on Cowper, and he's to be formally charged with Aggravated Battery and Felon in Possession of a Weapon. Further charges might be pending depending on what happens to the victim.
